In the middle of March 2020 the Covid-19 pandemic exploded and the tourism industry came to a grinding halt. The Mythic Mississippi Project rose to the challenge by seizing the opportunity to “go virtual” by means of this rich website, which can be used for virtual tourism and in-person tourism (see the announcement by Governor J.B. Pritzker on May 12, 2021).
